SUMMARY:Workshop: Queer Signifiers in Fashion- An upcycling fashion workshop
DESCRIPTION:Pride Enschede 2026\n \n\nA sewing basics workshop where we will dive into how clothing has multilayered functions from queer expression\, signifiers\, protest\, art\, and environmental activism.\n\nBring your own clothes to upcycle\, or use clothes and fabrics proved by Overlap and create something to reclaim what has been disregarded and allow yourself to exist without compromise. The workshop is a collaboration between Creatieve Broedplaats and Overlap and is led by members of both teams. They’ll help you with upcycling and restyling. Afterwards strut your creations on the catwalk at the SLAYYY party.\n\nReserve a spot for the workshop on Creatieve Broedplaats’s website.\n\n\nEen workshop waarin we dieper ingaan op de gelaagde functies van kleding: van queer expressie\, symboliek en protest tot kunst en milieu-activisme.\nNeem je eigen kleding mee om te upcyclen\, of gebruik kleding en stoffen die door Overlap ter beschikking worden gesteld\, en creëer iets om terug te claimen wat is afgedankt—en sta jezelf toe om te bestaan zonder compromissen. De workshop is een samenwerking van Creatieve Broedplaats en Overlap en wordt gegeven door mensen uit beide teams. Zij helpen je met upcyclen en restylen.
